Inspired by man’s longstanding fascination with natural quartz, Element explores the inherent aesthetic relationship between symmetry and asymmetry.
"There’s a fascinating tension between these two states — rest and motion, order and chaos, simplicity and complexity — that creates its own equilibrium,” explains Hammerton Signature designer Levi Wilson. “Element is unquestionably asymmetric in design but its compositional elements are symmetrical. Therein lies its aesthetic power.”
Magnifying the geometric structure of raw quartz, 18 illuminated ‘crystals’ seamlessly fuse hand-sculpted steel with nested blown glass shades. Each Element chandelier requires over 100 hours of fabrication by our artisan teams.
